Sales Administrator – Reporting
Reports to:
Vice President Sales
- Coordinate and handle all sales‑related activities.
- Process sales orders and ensure they are fulfilled effectively.
- Manage sales contracts and maintain an accurate database of sales records utilizing CRM.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies.
- Provide customer service, including handling customer inquiries and resolving issues.
- Create and update sales reports for the sales team and management.
- Maintain and update customer databases such as TRUX.
- Assist with promotional activities and trade shows.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and expense reports.
- Track sales targets and ensure they are met.
- Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned or required.
The Sales Administrator operates as an Individual Contributor Level 2 (IC2), providing administrative and operational support to ensure efficient day‑to‑day sales operations. The role works independently on assigned tasks within established processes, supporting order fulfillment, reporting, and customer interactions, and collaborates closely with sales team members and internal partners. The position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements- Excellent communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
- Service orientation with a proactive approach to helping customers and team members.
- Ability to foster teamwork and enlist the support and participation of others.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or administrative role.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- Regularly required to talk and hear, both in person and by phone or web meetings.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to read and interpret data on a computer screen or printed documents.
- Work is performed in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels and climate control.
- Potential for remote work or hybrid work arrangement.
- May be required to lift up to 30 pounds.
While the role is primarily office‑based, occasional travel may be required for customer visits or trade shows. The position supports a remote or hybrid work arrangement where feasible.
Compensation$25.00 to $29.00 per hour
