Position SummaryThe Inside Sales Representative is M&M Quality Grinding’s key contact for our stakeholders (customers, partners, prospects). You ensure that all touchpoints between our organizations are positive, professional, and provide value. As an ambassador for the company, you shape the first impression and ongoing experience with M&M Quality Grinding Inc., responding quickly to all stakeholder interactions and delivering clear messaging.
Job Requirements- Ability to convey information verbally and in writing to customers, internal teams, and external partners.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and comfort probing for clarification to assess customer needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, a complex ERP system, and various proprietary tools/software.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to document all customer interactions and navigate a detailed CRM.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and daily activities while responding to customers in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
- Remain calm and flexible while handling changing requirements and situations.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure consistency in all customer and partner interactions.
- Strong knowledge of our core capabilities and services to answer general questions quickly.
- Comfortable with tracking and analysis of data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage new customer, part, and order entry into our ERP system (Global Shop) with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with critical customer interactions, including invoicing, delivery notifications, RMA, RFQ, and quoting processes.
- Attend all production meetings to provide updates to internal teams and relay key information to customers.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers and internal teams regarding schedules, questions, issues, annual volumes, release quantities, packing and shipping requirements, and additional order details.
- Ensure clear and precise documentation of customers’ needs, issues, and resolutions within ERP, CRM, dashboards, and order files for future reference.
- Compile reports and work instructions to track, monitor, and improve internal processes and performance.
- Maintain organized and up‑to‑date customer files, server records, and all documentation related to orders and communications.
- Provide project assistance across Purchasing, Accounting, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Sales as needed.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and internal efficiency.
