Location: Palos Park

Description

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our growing Behavioral Health team in Palos Heights, IL. This role focuses on providing high-quality outpatient psychiatric care to an adult patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Position Highlights
  • Join a team of 11 established and well-respected physicians
  • Conduct new psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients
  • Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management
  • Full-time, 36 patient-facing hours per week
  • Monday–Friday clinic schedule
  • Outpatient clinic at Orland Park and Inpatient privileges at NM Palos Hospital
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient centered care
  • Support program development and expansion of advanced behavioral health treatment modalities
  • System-wide Epic EMR
Qualifications
  • MD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice
