Location: Rosemont
Environmental Planner 2
Responsibilities- Collect project-related data, which may include research, interviews with government agencies and clients, map reviews, field investigations for wetlands, and land use
- Prepare constraints mapping using GIS
- Assist senior and mid-level scientists in field work associated with the collection of natural resource data
- Assist in preparation for and participation in public information meetings and hearings
- Prepare, plan and analyze/review technical studies, permit applications, NEPA documents, and similar reports/documents
- Assist public and private clients with permit coordination, compliance for wetland impacts, bridge construction, and threatened/endangered species
- Perform other duties as needed
- AICP certification
- Experience using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field
- A minimum of 5 years environmental experience
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Strong conceptual, organizational, problem‑solving and research abilities
