Senior Analyst

Location: Rosemont

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Analyst in Rosemont, IL.

Responsibilities:

* Conducts timely review of required payroll reports, data input and audit of payroll information entered by Payroll Tax Analyst according to our SOX and Internal Auditor requirements

* Reviews and coordinates necessary changes to the Federal & State quarterly tax returns

* Works directly with Federal, State and Local Agencies to solve Tax Notices, resolve Unemployment issues;
Address employee concerns with Unemployment;
Responsible for ensuring SUI tax rates are current in Workday

* Responsible for producing quarterly amendments timely and accurately

* Runs weekly and quarterly audits on location/relocation data;
Partners with the field to identify errors with employee set up and correct pay records if necessary;
Responsible for reporting back accurate wage and tax information

* Prepares payroll reports as requested using database reporting tool, v-lookups, pivot tables and formulas as necessary

* Oversees compliance with ADP tax filings, the W2 process and any related wage and/or tax corrections to the associate and agencies

* Assists with Corporate Tax and Finance inquiries

* Ensures manual taxes are handled timely and accurately

* Runs daily stock file and request wire transfers when needed for timely tax payments

* Provides quality customer service responding to calls and answering requests from Internal Audit and other business areas

* Researches and responds to employee and internal payroll tax inquiries in a timely fashion

* Makes recommendations for process improvements and efficiencies

* Support to the payroll team with 3rd Party Sick, over payments, and Deceased associates

* Responsible for submitting monthly, quarterly, and annual tax files to ADP

REQUIREMENTS:

* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed

* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
