Loan Documentation Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Assist the Team and Managers with preparation of Laser Pro documentation and review of Attorney loan documentation, including potential review of loans to be booked and funded.
• Assist team members on their requests, monitor daily peer reviews, and perform other assigned tasks.
• Assign and manage daily workflow for the team.
• Review all loan products for booking/funding, handle exception creation.
• Create additional processes and job aids as needed, including procedures for various niche groups.
• Process Letter of Credit transactions and review Attorney‑prepared documentation to ensure compliance with approval terms and loan document requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines and meet due diligence requirements outlined in Corporate Procedure.
• Support continuation of responsibilities identified in Sr. Commercial Loan Documentation role.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience preparing/reviewing very complex and high‑value commercial and commercial real‑estate loan transactions.
• Strong understanding of commercial lending concepts, including collateral perfection, commercial loan documents, corporate credit policy, approval levels, and loan accounting.
• Experience in a loan operations environment, supporting commercial lending staff and working with title companies.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills, ability to partner with commercial lenders and support staff.
• Ability to apply flexibility in procedures and policies to assist lenders in closing loan transactions.
• Common‑sense approach to assisting lending staff.

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $59,000–$77,000, with eligibility for an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. #LI-Onsite
