Reporting to the AVP of Transaction Management – Whole Loans, this position is responsible for administering a defined interim servicing process for the Retail and Correspondent channels. This role also supports the Transaction Management Desk by managing overflow tasks and performing designated post-closing responsibilities.

This role is responsible for coordinating onboarding and oversight of first payment collection and application, borrower communications and disclosures, escrow reconciliation and investor transfer notices during the period between loan origination and investor boarding or transfer. The role ensures compliant handling of RESPA-required timelines, reduces unnecessary loan boarding and enhances the borrower experience during the first payment cycle. Additionally, the role ensures strict adherence to organizational policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

Include:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field (or equivalent combination of years of experience with High School diploma/GED)
  • 5+ years of mortgage industry experience, including at least 3 years in a mortgage servicing environment
  • 2+ years of experience in a direct-to-consumer mortgage servicing role
  • Prior experience delivering loan files, data and documentation to end investors or third-party entities
  • Proficiency with Encompass or a similar loan origination system
  • Experience with MSP required
  • Strong skills and experience in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to routinely lift and move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings and effectively lead discussions
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Compensation
  • The annual range for this position is between $56,000 to $66,560
  • This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
