Valet Attendant

We are currently looking for part-time valet attendants.

Skokie Country Club is a world class private Club; dedicated to giving our Members excellent food, beverage, and service from arrival to departure. Our team goes above and beyond to ensure our Members and their guests have positive experiences each and every day.

• Demonstrate genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing positive relationships with Members and guests throughout the Club
• Constantly delivering exceptional experiences throughout the valet department
• Keeps the front entrance of the clubhouse clean, safe, and presentable at all times while always providing friendly and attentive service
• Assist with opening doors and unloading and transport of equipment, including golf clubs, from member vehicles
• Communicate with locker room and golf operations to ensure a seamless experience from arrival to departure for Members and guest
• Excel in the parking and returning of vehicles to Members
• Own every Member and guest request
• Performs all other duties and side work as assigned by the Valet department manager

Must be available to work nights, weekends, Club events, and most Holidays

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have upbeat, outgoing positive attitude
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with a team
• Willingness to learn
• Previous valet experience a plus
• Experience in private clubs is a plus
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, Club events, and most Holidays
• Must possess a true desire to satisfy the needs of members and guests in a fast-paced environment

This is non-expempt position. Competitive hourly rate based on experience starting from $18/hr

• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight up to 50lbs.
• Requires bending, reaching, stretching, getting in and our of cars quickly
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
