Inventory and Data Entry Clerk

Talascend is currently seeking an Inventory and Data Entry Clerk for a contract opportunity with our client in Rosemont, Illinois
.

This role involves manual order entry, order tracking, report writing, and researching discrepancies in inventory and sales data to ensure accurate recordkeeping and efficient supply portal operations.

• Enter forecasted orders, purchase orders, and adjustments accurately and on time
• Determine pallet weight and truck capacity
• Maintain accurate records, including variance reports of items ordered versus received, forecasted versus sales, and inventory levels vs. targets
• Verify supplier order confirmation and delivery dates
• Track and trace inbound orders to ensure appointment times are met and trucks are received
• Maintain supplier portals and troubleshoot system challenges
• Utilize computer applications effectively and ensure timely updates with vital information
• Work with operations to ensure accurate inventory levels are recorded

• Bachelor's degree or GED with 2+ years of experience in data entry
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas such as v-lookups and x-lookups
• Ability to work independently
• Solid business mathematical skills
• Ability to analyze large pools of data accurately and efficiently
• Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage vast amounts of inventory and SKUs
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to pass a post-offer background and drug test
