Maintenance; Porter

Overview

Perform housekeeping duties for office, cafeteria, restrooms and lobby, ensuring cleanliness and a positive impression for all employees.

• Routinely clean all common room areas including office, cafeteria, restrooms and lobby.
• Remove litter, empty trash and recycling receptacles from all common areas.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum common areas and respond to any major spills or other cleaning incidents. When applicable place safety hazard signs for wet floors, etc.
• Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.

• High school/GED
• Previous housekeeping experience
• Inventory experience

• Must be able to stand for long periods, push, pull, lift and squat as needed to perform assigned tasks.
• No more than 50 lbs of lifting/pushing/pulling.

The starting salary for this role is $18 per hour. This is a union position covered by a collective bargaining agreement. Benefits such as medical coverage, retirement plan, and paid time off are provided in accordance with the terms outlined in the agreement.
