About the Role

We’re seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Director to join our leadership team at Haven of Ridgeview. As a vital member of our team, you will oversee the physical operations of our facility, ensuring that our residents and staff enjoy a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. Responsibilities
  • Ensure all areas of the facility remain clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems.
  • Manage purchasing, storage, and inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Conduct and oversee safety inspections, fire and disaster drills, and ensure compliance with OSHA and IDPH regulations.
  • Participate in the weekend Supervisor rotation and serve as on‑call emergency contact as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with all life safety requirements (fire alarm, sprinkler, generator, etc.).
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma (preferred)
  • Experience in building maintenance in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair (certifications a plus)
  • Familiarity with OSHA and IDPH regulations
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  • A hands‑on problem solver with a passion for providing a safe and welcoming environment
