Custodial Worker

Position: Custodial Worker - Full Time
Location: Ohio

What you'll do at DBH:

* Perform general housekeeping duties

* Maintain and clean assigned area

* Fill in for custodial workers in their absence

* Stock and order supplies

* Move furniture and/or miscellaneous equipment

* Participate in appropriate interventions

* Maintain outside grounds

This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of 2 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours Monday - Friday 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:30 pm. These positions are located within our Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare Hospital in Northfield, Ohio.

Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Additional Salary / Appointment Information:

* Pay Increase of 3% July 2026.

* Longevity supplement after 5 years of service.

Qualifications:

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary. In accordance with Section 124.11(B)(2), revised code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination.

The equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
