Position Overview

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking to hire a Support Service Worker for the Treatment and Detention Facility located in Rushville, Illinois to work in an assigned shift in the Dietary Department. Assists in the preparation and serving of food while overseeing residents. Cleans and maintains sanitation of the kitchen and related areas in coordination with residents. Operates dishwasher, pot and pan machine, mixers, can openers, disposals, coffee makers, toasters, and any other kitchen utensils.

Distributes food to patient areas. Maintains records of items removed from storage areas and stock workstations with supplies after each meal service. Cleans and sanitizes various work areas throughout facility, including special cleaning instructions.
