Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Location: Loves Park
Position Summary
This role is responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues in machinery, performing routine and corrective maintenance, and keeping accurate records of all work completed. It also requires using diagnostic tools and software, calibrating equipment to specifications, and working closely with other technicians and departments to coordinate repairs. A strong focus on safety compliance, quality standards, communication, teamwork, and time management is essential.
Compensation& Benefits
Hourly Pay: $24.52- $31.73- $39.42 (plus a shift differential)

2nd Shift, Monday through Friday 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
1st week of Orientation/Training:
Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM

- Diagnose machine issues: identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
- Perform repairs and maintenance: execute regular and corrective maintenance tasks.
- Document maintenance activities: accurately record repairs and maintenance actions in the maintenance management system.
- Collaborate with team members: communicate effectively with other technicians and departments.
- Ensure safety compliance: adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting: proficient in diagnosing and repairing complex systems.
- Preventative maintenance: skilled in performing routine maintenance.
- Technical documentation: maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment logs.
- Equipment calibration: calibrate machinery to specifications.
- Safety compliance: knowledgeable in adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Diagnostic software proficiency: experienced in using diagnostic tools and software.
- Quality control: ensure all repairs meet quality standards.
- Time management: manage workload and prioritize tasks.
- Communication: convey complex technical information clearly.
- Team collaboration: work effectively with team members.
