Position Title:

Maintenance Technician Wage: $25.00-$30.00/hour Depending on experience

Shift: 1st

Hours:

7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday; 7:30am-11:30am Friday (schedule may be adjusted based on business needs) Join a company in Richmond, IL looking for a high-quality Maintenance Technician who can make a lasting impact. Don’t miss this opportunity to grow into a newly created maintenance role. This is a temporary opportunity on 1st shift.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general building maintenance and repairs
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components
  • Complete preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems
  • Assist with machinery repairs and ensure proper machine guarding is maintained
  • Perform basic pipe fitting and plumbing repairs as needed
  • Identify maintenance concerns and recommend corrective actions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times
  • Maintain maintenance records and document completed repairs
  • Support facility improvement projects and perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Strong general electrical troubleshooting and repair knowledge
  • Experience with pipe fitting, plumbing, or mechanical repairs is a plus
  • Knowledge of building maintenance and facility repairs
  • Understanding of machine guarding requirements and workplace safety practices
  • OSHA 30 or OSHA 40 certification is highly preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
