Maintenance Supervisor - JOSLIN, IL

Job Summary

This position is responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance coordination, including leading and directing a team of maintenance technicians and fostering a well‑trained, motivated staff.

• Supervise a group of mechanics performing related tasks and promote a strong safety culture.
• Manage and oversee preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.
• Schedule maintenance crews and production work orders.
• Measure, monitor, and reduce machine downtime.
• Diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing, and PLC issues and guide repairs.
• Develop and maintain an effective preventative maintenance program for plant equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 1+ year of industrial maintenance experience.
• Supervisory experience with a team of mechanics.
• Knowledge of SQF quality management policies and GMP practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to articulate ideas clearly.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with SAP is a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends and be on call as required.

Base salary range: $63,000 – $107,000. Annual incentive plan available. Additional compensation may be provided for shift differentials, on‑call, overtime, and bonuses.

C Shift. Specific hours and days off will be discussed during the interview.

Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching. Must be able to work in hot, humid or cold, damp environments on slippery surfaces.
