Environmental Services Sanitation Position - 1st Shift

Overview

Works within the Clay County Hospital operating room to clean and sanitize those two facilities to provide a safe/clean environment for our patients, staff and visitors. Duties include but are not limited to: complete a daily checklist, dispose of all waste in an appropriate manner and follow accepted cleaning procedures in preparing chemicals and using proper PPE.

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of operating room facilities to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Complete a daily cleaning checklist.
• Dispose of all waste in an appropriate manner.
• Follow accepted cleaning procedures when preparing chemicals and using proper PPE.

• High school education preferred but not required.
• Basic reading and computer skills.
• Physical requirements include bending, walking, vacuuming, mopping, going up and down stairs, lifting 25 lbs or less.

Role is full time, 5 days a week with some holidays and weekends. Hours are 9am to 5:30pm. Starting pay is $16.73 per hour.
