Full-Time Afternoon Custodian

Peotone CUSD 207U is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Full-Time Afternoon Custodian at Peotone Elementary School to help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for students and staff. This position is available immediately. The start date will be determined after acceptance of the position. Salary/Pay: $15.00 per hour. Full-time benefits include: employer IMRF contribution, 13 sick, 2 personal, 10 vacation, 12 holidays, 100% board-paid employee health insurance.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Requirements for the Position:

• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
• Some climbing and balancing
• Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
• Significant fine finger dexterity
• Generally, the job requires 5% sitting, 70% walking, and 25% standing
• The job is performed under minimal temperature variations in a generally hazard-free environment

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Pass a pre-employment medical exam and criminal justice fingerprint/background clearance
