Sanitation Associate

Our client, a leading company in the food distribution industry, is seeking a Sanitation Associate for their Hampshire, IL facility. This entry-level role is responsible for maintaining company facilities and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition in accordance with company standards and sanitation requirements.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM start, 8-hour shifts (40 hours/week)

Location:

Hampshire, IL

Contract Duration:
Approximately 1,056 total hours

Travel:
None required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and sanitation of facilities, production areas, and exterior grounds
• Complete custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and restroom cleaning
• Assist with dishwashing and laundry services as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas and work spaces
• Support the upkeep and organization of parking areas and company grounds
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and company procedures

Required Qualifications:

• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to work in a cold and wet environment
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting throughout an 8-hour shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in custodial, sanitation, or facility maintenance roles
• Familiarity with food production or warehouse environments
• Basic understanding of workplace safety standards
