Job Summary

This positions in on-site at the CITGO Lemont Refinery, Lemont, Illinois.

Heavy Craft Technician - Candidates will work in a refinery environment operating mobile equipment and performing equipment maintenance tasks. They will also perform fixed equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance and basic maintenance tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

Basic Maintenance Skills
mechanical drawings
basic shop equipment.
basic piping fundamentals.
basic hydrotesting of piping and equipment.
basic valve maintenance.
Must understand and be able to use precision measuring devices.
Must be able to:
- operate overhead davits and cranes.
- remove replace vacuum breakers/rupture discs.
- work in a refinery environment.
- work outdoors, climb, and wear SCBA
Must possess the ability to make correct decisions concerning the safety of plant personnel and protection of plant equipment
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Valid Driver's License
Transportation Worker Identification Credential(TWIC) Eligibility

Candidates with the following qualifications are strongly preferred:

5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience.
Class A CDL
Fork Truck Certified
Carry Deck Certified
Crane Certified (Up to 60 ton crane)
