ESS Clean, Inc. is hiring a dependable, adaptable Full-Time Cleaning Specialist – Floater to support our Decatur-area team. If you like variety, learn quickly, and would rather not clean the exact same building every day, this could be a great fit for you!

Unlike a position assigned to one building, this role requires you to learn multiple facilities, cleaning routines, and client expectations. You may work somewhere familiar one day and be needed at a completely different location the next. We’re looking for someone who can adjust quickly and still deliver high-quality work wherever they're assigned. This is an important role on our team.

When there's a gap in coverage,
you're the person we count on to step in and make sure the job gets done.

• Clean at a variety of client locations throughout the Decatur area
• Provide coverage for open positions, absences, vacations, and other staffing needs
• Learn the cleaning specifications and expectations for multiple facilities
• Clean offices, restrooms, break areas, common spaces, and other assigned areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform other floor care
• Empty trash, clean and disinfect surfaces, and restock supplies
• Adjust to different buildings, assignments, and priorities
• Follow site-specific procedures, safety requirements, and client expectations
• Manage your time effectively to complete assigned work within each shift
• Communicate with supervisors about questions, issues, or anything that needs additional attention

This position requires more flexibility and adaptability than a cleaner assigned to one regular location. You don't need to already know every building or cleaning process –
we'll train you! -- but you do need to be someone who learns quickly and can apply what you've learned. We’re looking for someone who:

• Is comfortable with their assignment changing based on the needs of the team
• Produces quality work even when working somewhere that isn't their regular location
• Can work independently and figure out what needs to happen next
• Is dependable, flexible, and communicates well

• Is comfortable with a physically active job and staying busy throughout the shift
• Takes pride in being someone others can rely on
