Schedule: Full-Time | 1st or 2nd Shift Available
Pay: $18/hr - $25/hr

Position OverviewThe Swiss CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating Swiss-type CNC lathes to manufacture precision components according to blueprint specifications and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to verify part accuracy using precision measurement tools.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Swiss CNC automatic lathes to produce precision parts
- Manufacture components to exact blueprint specifications and tolerances
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and supporting documents
- Make minor tool adjustments or replacements as needed
- Load material bars or slugs into machines (up to 50 lbs)
- Perform basic math calculations to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure production efficiency
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience operating Swiss-type CNC lathes or equivalent on-the-job training
- Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges)
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and problem solving
- Must be comfortable making minor tooling adjustments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when loading materials
- Must have personal machinist tools
- Standing and moving throughout the shift (up to 95% of the time)
- Frequent use of hands for handling parts and tools
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly, with assistance when needed
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, or reaching
- Precision manufacturing shop environment
- Moderate noise levels (hearing protection may be required)
- Safety equipment required including closed-toe shoes and eye protection
