Forklift Operator; Conversion

Job Summary

• Moving and transferring materials and finished goods in a high‑volume production environment.
• All transfers must be performed with a high degree of accuracy and accountability and in accordance with established standard processes and procedures.
• All duties performed with focus on safety.
• Follow all critical safety rules, standards of conduct, and plant and company practices, procedures, policies, standard work practices, and truck and railcar health and safety rules.
• Effectively perform all duties as outlined in the Operations Lift Truck Operator standard work.
• Assist with operations on all EPS lines as assigned and relieve operators for breaks.
• Perform Packers (Packing Associates) and Operator B (Operator Associates) duties as assigned (and as trained to do so).
• Fill in as operator for breaks or as assigned. Communicate effectively.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers on a daily basis and assist others in daily assignments.
• Work within a team and build good relationships.
• Ensure that assignments are completed in a timely manner.
• Perform daily inspection of forklifts.
• Support SAP functions related to inventory and load management (e.g., Pick list, PGI).
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Compensation: $21.66 – $25.70 per hour, paid weekly.

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday).

• Experience with pallet jack is preferred.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and move heavy loads with a pallet jack.
• Must be able to complete material order forms and read and interpret job dockets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexibility to work overtime and off‑shifts as needed.
