A growing manufacturing operation is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities with a strong focus on welding operations, manufacturing efficiency, safety, and quality. This onsite opportunity offers $71,000-$80,000 and is ideal for candidates with production leadership experience in welding and industrial manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily production and welding operations
- Oversee MIG, TIG, and robotic welding processes
- Coordinate schedules, labor, and workflow to meet production targets
- Support quality initiatives and production efficiency improvements
- Monitor KPIs including output, efficiency, scrap, and rework
- Lead production employees, welders, and operators
- Support hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
- Drive Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Supervisory experience in production environments
- Strong understanding of MIG, TIG, and robotic welding
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
- Experience with production scheduling and KPI tracking
- ERP systems and Microsoft Office experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- WPS/PQR documentation knowledge
- AWS, ASME, or ISO experience
- High-volume manufacturing background
Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience
- $71,000-$80,000 compensation range
- Full-time onsite role
