In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for mixing and blending product batches with a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Bring your chemical manufacturing experience to Daubert.
- Operate chemical processing equipment to formulate standard or custom products according to product specifications.
- Track the production schedule and follow batch sheet instructions to set up, weigh, measure, and mix raw materials in proper sequence.
- Add ingredients manually or with pumps and meters, accurately record information on the batch sheet, and submit samples to QA.
- Prepare approved finished product for the container and label it for shipping.
- Learn and safely execute formulation procedures for the Production Department.
Job Duties
- Perform activities to safely clean, secure and maintain equipment and work areas; participate in housekeeping per 5S (sweep, mop, dust, organize).
- Follow all work instructions, SOPs, and safety rules, including use of PPE; respirator use is required for certain batches.
- Troubleshoot equipment, respond to system notifications, and make required adjustments as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 years of chemical manufacturing experience in a batch environment with chemical reactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; reads, writes, and speaks English; works well in a team and able to follow directions.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with valves, pumps, flow meters, condensers, sensors, PLCs, filters, etc.
- Good problem-solving ability and efficient time management within shift directives.
- Ability to perform accurate math calculations.
- Ability to be trained and safely operate a forklift.
- Punctuality and excellent attendance are expected.

The worker must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Passing a respirator fitting and pulmonary fit test is required.
