Summary
Are you seeking to jumpstart your career in marketing? Work in a fast-paced, tech-driven, highly creative agency environment? As an Intern at Freeman/mdg, you'll have the opportunity to learn from the best in the business and make a real impact on our clients' marketing campaigns. You'll work closely with diverse teams to collaborate on innovative projects while building professional communication and business strategy aptitude.
In addition to learning the ropes of the event marketing world, you'll also have the chance to network with other professionals in the event industry, attend industry events, and gain exposure to our latest technologies and trends.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
* Research. You'll help us get to know our clients' industries, audiences and competitors better by performing primary and secondary research.
* Support. You'll be an amazing asset to the account services team, ready to serve on a variety of initiatives from social media to tactical planning.
* Learn. You'll learn about the day-to-day workings of a marketing agency and where you think you fit in the world of marketing.
Education & Experience
* Pursuing a Bachelor's degree (preferably in marketing, communications, or general business - but not required)
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Adept at using social media and other digital tools (Microsoft Office products)
* Available to work full-time for 10 weeks during the summer of 2024
