Certification Details
- Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations during cardiovascular procedures.
- Provide holistic support addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs in a surgical and procedural environment.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, providing continuous updates on patient status before, during, and after procedures.
- Prepare and maintain procedure rooms ensuring equipment is functioning, calibrated, and ready for use.
- Manage supplies and inventory for efficient workflow in the Cath Lab.
- Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with accurate interpretation and rapid response.
- Continuously assess and document patient condition in the Cardiovascular Lab with thorough records.
- Participate in quality initiatives and continuous quality improvement activities to enhance patient care and operational excellence.
Job Details
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required.
- Current BCLS (AHA) certification required.
- Current ACLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained.
- At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab with cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care environment required.
Job Requirements
- Full Time employment status.
- Shift: Days, 08:00 - 16:30 with call rotation.
- On call required every 2-3rd weekend, 1-3 times per week.

Unit Specific Information
- Driver's license, State , or Passport required for onboarding.
- Prime OIG check required for onboarding.
- Prime Drug Screening (minimum 10-panel test) within 60 days of start, including THC.
- Prime Color-blind test required annually.
- Prime Agency Attestation to be completed after all credentials uploaded.
- Prime SAM/EPLS exclusion check required.
- Resume required at time of offer acceptance.
- Two professional references required, one from a manager or supervisor.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster or declination required.
- Proof of MMR immunity required.
- Annual respirator fit test required prior to start.
- Hepatitis B immunization or immunity proof required.
- Influenza vaccine or declination required during flu season.
- TB test within one year of start date required.
- Varicella vaccination or immunity proof required.
- Tdap vaccination required with some state-specific declination restrictions.
- Annual TB questionnaire required.
- Social Security Card or Passport required.
- Annual physical/health statement required, must state clear to work.
- Prime Core Competencies Exam with minimum 80% score required.
- Prime Skills Checklist required.
- National Criminal Background Check within one year required.
- Prime Badge Photo required for onboarding.
- Prime Form I-9 or agency attestation required.
- Signed current job description required.
- DCI/BVP workplace violence prevention training required.
