You will provide direct patient care, monitor maternal and fetal well-being, assist with deliveries, administer medications, and document care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. You must have an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and prior experience in labor and delivery or obstetrics.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and AWHONN or Fetal Heart Monitoring certification are required. The ability to work 12-hour night shifts is often needed. Recommended experience includes at least 1 year in labor and delivery, strong clinical skills in maternal and newborn care, and the ability to respond to obstetric emergencies.
