Travel RN - Cath Lab​/EP

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN for a 13-week Cardiology assignment requiring IL RN licensure and at least one year of cardiovascular lab or critical care experience.

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained
• At least one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care setting required
• BSN preferred

• Full-time Cath Lab RN role in the Cardiology department, Cardiac Cath Lab
• Cares for adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures
• Day shift schedule,
• On-call rotation required, approximately every 2nd-3rd weekend and 1-3 times per week
• Deliver comprehensive patient care addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs throughout cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and provide continuous updates on patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, ensuring equipment is functioning and properly calibrated
• Manage case-specific supplies and inventory to support efficient Cath Lab workflow
• Monitor and interpret physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient condition throughout Cardiovascular Lab visits
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives
