Counter Sales Associate II

Hiring a Counter Sales Associate to support an HVAC Manufacturing Organization that is the leader in climate control products. This is a Customer Service focused role that will answer phone calls and assist customers as they come into the store and look up parts etc. You will also perform shipping and receiving of parts and will use a forklift a few times a week.

The company is a global manufacturer and distributor of climate control products for the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration markets. They use this staffing model to convert workers to full time employees. This is a great way to get hired fast!

Location: Bedford Park, IL 60638
Position: Seasonal with Right to Hire
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Hours: 6:00am to 3:00pm

• Customer Service focused, answer phone and assist customers, look up parts.
• Under direct supervision, evaluate customers' needs and make product/service recommendations accordingly. Responsible for ensuring proper stocking of Lennox-branded and other HVAC-related products and supplies.
• Assist in unloading products and deliveries.
• Effectively communicate features, benefits, and warranty policy information to customers.
• Follow all safety, health and security and environmental standards.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Counter Sales experience.
• Computer skills to look up parts for customers and customer orders.
• Shipping and Receiving experience.
• Forklift skills preferred; low use, only used 2 or 3 times a week.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills;
  Microsoft applications.
• General HVAC knowledge.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
