Sales Consultant

Car Max is hiring a full-time Sales Consultant to deliver a transparent, no-haggle car-buying experience. In this retail sales role, you'll greet customers, assess needs, and present vehicle options from our extensive used-car inventory. You'll guide customers through test drives, financing options, and purchase paperwork while upholding Car Max standards of integrity, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You'll use digital tools to manage leads, follow up on inquiries, and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers on the sales floor and online channels
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate vehicles from inventory
• Conduct product demonstrations and coordinate test drives
• Explain pricing, features, warranties, and vehicle history reports
• Guide customers through financing options and purchase paperwork
• Use CRM and digital tools to track leads and customer interactions
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales and customer satisfaction goals
• Ensure compliance with Car
• Max policies and applicable regulations
• Collaborate with teammates and support a positive store environment
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs
