We are seeking a Union Laborer to support civil construction, earthwork, and underground utility projects—including sanitary, storm, and waterline work. The ideal candidate is a hardworking individual eager to grow within our organization and able to work with a crew to complete jobs efficiently under the direction of the crew foreman.
Essential Job Accountabilities- Assist with pipe installation of CIPP liners into existing pipes, handling materials, equipment, and tools.
- Prepare the work area, clear debris, set up barriers or safety equipment, and ensure a safe environment.
- Operate equipment such as pumps, generators, or curing devices as required, following safety protocols.
- Handle materials: transport to and from the site, load and unload trucks, organize supplies, and ensure availability.
- Assist crew members, including technicians, supervisors, and engineers, performing tasks like resin mixing, quality checks, or monitoring equipment.
- Maintain safety standards, wear personal protective equipment, follow proper lifting techniques, and identify hazards.
- Support quality assurance by inspecting materials, monitoring installation accuracy, and addressing issues.
- Clean up the work area, return equipment and materials to storage, and aid in routine maintenance.
- Document and report daily activity logs, material usage, incidents, and accidents for project management and compliance.
- Pursue continuous learning by staying updated on industry trends, techniques, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in all responsibilities listed above (required).
- Class A CDL with no automatic restriction.
- Good communication and interaction skills.
- Accurate, reliable, and able to follow orders with minimal supervision.
- Proactive problem‑solving ability.
Solid understanding of standard field pipe rehabilitation procedures. - Capacity to work in extreme environments, conditions, and confined spaces.
- Fit physical condition required.
- One to two years of laborer experience on construction projects or public utilities (preferred).
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Union contract benefits (details provided upon hire).
