Diesel Mechanic
We are hiring immediately a Diesel Mechanic to maintain, diagnose and repair our commercial vehicles and related equipment in our Bedford, IL location. If your background includes diesel technician or related experience and excellent customer service skills, please apply!
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITIONAssists in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial vehicles and related equipment. Also maintains, inspects, grades, changes and repairs commercial vehicle tires to ensure an effective Tire Program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment within specified Service Repair Times (SRT).
- Follow established maintenance procedures and guidelines.

- A+ Level Technician: $33.50 - $36 per hour
- A Level Technician: $31.50 - $33.50 per hour
- B Level Technician: $28.50 - $31.50 per hour
- C Level Technician: $25 - $27.50 per hour
- $50 per month technology stipend
- Shift available: 2nd Shift: Mon-Friday -- 1PM-10:00PM ($0.50 shift differential)
Outside weather elements where continuously exposed to several elements such as, noise, intermittent standing, walking; and occasional pushing, carrying, or lifting.

High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc., plus 7 to 11 months related experience and/or training, and 1 to 6 months related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
