Cool Sys is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Tech to deliver safe, reliable service to commercial and industrial customers. In this field role, you will diagnose and repair HVAC-R systems, perform preventive maintenance, and optimize equipment for energy efficiency. You'll interpret schematics, document work in service software, and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC-R systems in the field
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and energy efficiency
- Interpret mechanical, electrical, and control schematics to support accurate troubleshooting
- Document all work performed using service/CMMS software and complete required reports
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and repair status to customers and dispatch
- Follow all Cool
- Sys and OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and work procedures
- Assist with system startups, retrofits, and energy-optimization projects as needed
- Collaborate with technicians and supervisors to resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory in clean, safe, and organized condition
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent service requests as required
