About the Role

You’re curious, collaborative, and driven by continuous improvement. You’re comfortable moving seamlessly between hands‑on coding and high‑level architectural vision. You thrive where hands‑on development meets emerging technology, bringing a passion for elegant engineering that solves real business problems while empowering teams to build sustainable, scalable, modern solutions. Energized by AI‑enhanced engineering, you’re ready to lead the adoption of next‑generation tools across the Microsoft stack and guide teams into the future of AI‑driven development, always innovating, always pushing what’s possible.

As a key member of our Engineering and Architecture Group, you’ll play a pivotal role in how we design, build, and deliver software. This is a hands‑on architecture role, where you’ll spend at least half your time coding, prototyping, and building .NET and Azure solutions shoulder‑to‑shoulder with the team.

Responsibilities
  • Define architecture roadmaps, reference patterns, and practical solutions across Azure, .NET, and the broader Microsoft technology ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Support leadership to evolve best practices for design, development, testing, deployment, code quality, automation, and overall maintainability.
  • Contribute directly to application design and development, building prototypes, shaping architecture decisions, and guiding engineers through technical reviews and best practices.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to scope new opportunities, evaluate risks, estimate effort, and translate ideas into clear, achievable solutions aligned with budget and strategy.
  • Lead our adoption of AI‑driven tools, including Claude Code, setting standards and identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve quality, and boost productivity.
  • Explore new and emerging technologies, conduct proofs‑of‑concept, recommend adoption paths, and establish engineering standards across the enterprise.
  • Maintain high‑quality documentation, including architecture designs, integration plans, testing procedures, and operational guidelines.
Travel

Up to 5 days per year.

Compensation

Salary Range: $102,000–$105,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 8–10+ years of software development, including 2+ years in solution/application architecture.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET, and Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Storage).
  • Solid understanding of microservices, modular monoliths, event‑driven design, and Domain‑Driven Design.
  • Full SDLC experience: design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Proficiency with modern front‑end frameworks (Angular, React, or Blazor) and REST API design.
  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and Azure Dev Ops pipelines.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into clear architectures and estimates.
  • Leadership in design/code reviews and mentoring.
  • Interest in AI‑enabled development tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude Code).
  • Strong communication with technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and modern engineering practice adoption.
  • Familiarity with CMS customization, SEO, accessibility, and vulnerability remediation.
Desired:
  • Experience with AMS, CRM platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365), or customizable SaaS products.
  • Designing and operating cloud‑native Azure solutions; CI/CD automation via Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub Actions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and Power BI; interest in platform migrations.
  • Exposure to Dev Ops practices:
Infrastructure as Code, automated deployments, environment management, monitoring.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure Architect, Azure Administrator, Azure Dev Ops Engineer).
