Fullstack developer

Overview

You will be a technically proficient and enthusiastic developer, with a desire to work on back-end application development. You will support and lead different phases of the product lifecycle including analysis, development, and testing. You will develop new components in Java and maintain/enhance existing components in Java/Angular/Python. Previous commercially proven experience in Java is required, with a strong desire to develop your skills more widely.

Additionally, there is an opportunity to work with front-end web apps. You will be expected to promote best practices in terms of TDD, development tools and technologies. You will be a proactive member of an agile team, taking part in ceremonies and interacting with business owners and stakeholders as well as other agile teams across the fleet. The role will involve constant interaction with front office business users, analyzing and gathering requirements.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design documents. Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing fixes. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and knowledge sharing.

• UI Development (Angular)
• 5+ years of hands-on Single Page App development.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive UI components using Angular, HTML, CSS, and Type Script.
• Implement UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional interfaces.
• Optimize UI performance for fast page loads and smooth interactions.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure design consistency and implement design systems.
• Develop and maintain reusable UI components and libraries.

• Back-end development with Java (RESTful APIs and microservices); 7+ years of SPA development experience is noted in the source.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java-based frameworks such as Spring Boot or Hibernate.
• Implement database schema design, data modeling, and data migration strategies using relational (e.g., MySQL) and No
  
  SQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
• Ensure backend services are highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant.

• Experience with Python programming (Django or Flask).
• Containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes;
  Open Shift is a plus.
• Dev Ops practices including CI/CD.
• Observability stack (Prometheus, Loki, Jaeger, Grafana).
• Strong Agile/Scrum understanding and ability to deliver within this framework.
• Experience in SOA, OO design and design patterns.
• Unix environment familiarity and web servers such as Apache and Tomcat.
• Knowledge of code quality/testing tools (Sonar, Cypress, Fortify, Snyk) and automation testing tools (PyTest, JUnit, Postman, PyUnit, Selenium, Mockito).

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $33.29/hour - $52.01/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
