About the roleThe CDL Class A Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between ReWorld facilities and client sites. This role offers the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment, including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flatbeds, while ensuring compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to designated locations while adhering to scheduled appointments.
- Ensure proper placarding of vehicles per DOT requirements.
- Complete and maintain all required paperwork, including manifests, inspection reports, job sheets, expense reports, and timesheets.
- Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of trucks and equipment (tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc.).
- Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
- Operate specialized equipment, including PTO-driven systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old (federal requirement for interstate travel).
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.
- Ability to obtain Haz Mat endorsement within 60 days of hire.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to use a tablet for E‑Logs.
- Knowledge and adherence to DOT regulations.

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 (1/3 after 1 month, 1/3 after 6 months, 1/3 after 1 year)
In addition to salary, this role is eligible for benefits. The benefits would include medical, prescription drug, vision, and dental plans; 401(k) plan; paid parental leave; paid time off; and paid holidays.
