This hands‑on role involves operating forklifts, moving and lifting parts (30–50 lbs.), and ensuring shipments are received, inspected, and documented correctly. Just as important, you’ll be a trusted resource for customers—answering inquiries, providing quotations, resolving parts‑related issues, and identifying sales opportunities.
From inventory counts to in‑town deliveries, no two days will be the same.
In this role, you will:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare parts for delivery and shipment.
- Verify, process, and track parts orders while maintaining precise inventory records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by recommending parts, sourcing solutions, and responding to inquiries professionally.
- Manage purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Receive and inspect shipments, identifying damages or discrepancies and documenting issues.
- Restock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
- Operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment as required.
- Perform occasional in‑town parts deliveries.
- Follow all company safety standards, including procedures for handling hazardous materials.
- Support additional tasks as assigned by the Lead Parts Technician.
- 5+ years of experience working with construction equipment parts.
- Journeyman Parts Technician Certificate.
- Forklift operation experience and a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with solid problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Experience with inventory systems, purchase orders, and invoicing.
- Ability to regularly lift 30–50 lbs. and perform well in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Ability to frequently lift 30–50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work daytime hours with occasional weekend shifts.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.
- 100% company‑paid extended health care.
- Life insurance and vision care.
- On‑site parking.
- 15 vacation days plus 6 paid personal days.
- 11 paid holidays.
- Up to $250/year CSA‑approved work boot allowance.
- Up to $400 every two years for prescription safety glasses.
This is more than just a job, it’s an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, fast‑paced team where your expertise is valued and your career can grow. If you’re detail‑oriented, enjoy working with parts, and take pride in keeping operations running seamlessly, we’d love to hear from you.
