Caretaker to join our Facilities Team.

Vertas delivers trusted, integrated facilities management solutions across Great Britain. Our team of 5,000 colleagues provides a comprehensive range of facilities services, including cleaning, catering, property design, recruitment, transport, and environmental management. You’ll find us putting the customer at the heart of everything we do, while prioritising our colleague’s health, safety and wellbeing.

Based within the South Derbyshire area, you will be working 20 hours a week (working shifts between the hours of 7am – 7pm) Monday to Friday. You’ll play a key role in providing high‑quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness. Due to this being a mobile position, you will need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.

• Carrying out day‑to‑day maintenance and minor repairs.
• Making sure that heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
• Carrying out and recording basic checks and maintaining Health and Safety records.
• Monitoring site stocks and undertaking cleaning duties.
• Demonstrating Health and Safety awareness and having a willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety (all training will be provided).
