Maintenance Technician

• Reports to and works under the Director of Operations.
• Maintain and manage monthly and quarterly geotechnical safety readings through instrumentation and Excel data entry.
• Coordinate safety inspections in all tenant facilities and common areas on an annual basis.
• Map and document each inspection area.
• Perform manual scaling of ceilings and coordinate with the maintenance staff for assistance as needed.
• Maintain communication and assist mining consultants when visiting the premises.
• Coordinate and work with geotechnical project contractors.
• Implement specific safety programs as directed.
• Perform and/or assist with general maintenance assignments as directed.

• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance technician role, preferably in an underground or industrial environment.
• Experience with geotechnical safety readings, safety inspections, audits, and state requirements preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to organize and maintain detailed inspection records.
• Attention to detail.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• A team player willing to work and develop in the role.
• Must be self‑motivated and able to work unsupervised.
• Working knowledge of spreadsheets, Microsoft Word;
  AutoCAD skills preferred.
• Able to pass Government Background check.
