Housekeeping Aide

Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation is looking for a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to join our team! The Housekeeping Aide helps maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

• Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the facility.

• Clean resident and common areas, offices, restrooms, therapy areas, activity rooms, hallways, entrances, lounges, lobbies, utility areas, and other assigned spaces.

• Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and infection control standards

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive environment for residents, families, visitors, and employees.

• Respond promptly to emergency housekeeping needs and spills
  .

• Properly use cleaning products, equipment, and supplies.

• Work cooperatively with nursing, dietary, maintenance, therapy, and other departments to support the needs of residents.

• Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  .

• Maintain a professional appearance and follow the facility dress code.

• Help create a welcoming, respectful, and comfortable environment for residents.

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, environmental services, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.

• Experience in a healthcare, nursing home, assisted living, hospital, hotel, or other commercial setting is a plus.

• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and cleaning procedures preferred.

• Ability to follow instructions, cleaning schedules, and safety procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.

• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.

• Ability to work independently while also being a team player.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
