The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and general upkeep throughout the facility. This role ensures that work spaces, common areas, and service zones are clean, safe, and well-organized. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in supporting the daily operations of the organization by creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment.

Location:

Independence, OH Hourly Rate: $15.00 (Paid Weekly)

Shift: 11am - 3pm The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

* Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

* Experience:

Previous experience in custodial, housekeeping, or porter roles is an asset.

* Skills and Attributes:

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move objects for extended periods

* Good communication and interpersonal skills

* Reliable and punctual

* Perform cleaning and maintenance duties in all assigned areas including lobbies, hallways, offices, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.

* Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors; dust surfaces and clean windows.

* Transport trash and recyclables to designated disposal areas.

* Set up and break down rooms or spaces for meetings, events, or special functions as needed.

* Assist with moving furniture, equipment, and deliveries throughout the facility.

* Perform light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, reporting leaks, or other facility issues to management.

* Replenish cleaning and restroom supplies as necessary.

* Support team members and other departments with facility-related needs.

* Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
