About Tamil Table

Tamil Table is a contemporary Tamil restaurant set in a restored Old Portuguese house in Assagao, Goa.

Our food is inspired by the kitchens of Chef Karthikeyan's mother and grandmother in Pondicherry. Spices are sun-dried and hand-ground in small batches by the women of our family, bringing an honest, soulful, and deeply personal culinary experience to Goa.

Alongside our restaurant and bar, we house a thoughtfully curated concept store featuring resort wear, vintage collectibles, and fine fragrances.

We are looking for a disciplined and growth-oriented individual who wants to build a career in hospitality operations.

Role Overview

This is a dynamic operations role for someone who wants hands-on exposure to hospitality management. You will work closely with the core team to ensure smooth daily functioning across restaurant operations, bar inventory, vendor coordination, reservations, and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

Cash & Billing
Maintain and reconcile cash drawer
Manage billing through Petpooja system
Edit bills, manage cancellations, record advances
Vendor & Accounts Coordination
Maintain paid/unpaid vendor records
Follow up on pending payments
Maintain liquor invoices and purchase records
Inventory Management
Monitor bar and non-alcoholic inventory
Coordinate orders and follow-ups
Manage essential kitchen supply orders
Reservations & Guest Coordination
Handle reservation calls and group bookings
Maintain advance payment records
Manage waitlists and table allocation
Systems & IT Coordination
Basic troubleshooting for POS, KOT machine, internet, and merchant devices
Coordinate with vendors for system-related issues
HR & Administration
Maintain attendance and leave records
Support biometric entry and documentation
Assist in tip distribution and salary coordination

Who We're Looking For

1+ year work experience (hospitality preferred)
Strong sense of responsibility and discipline
Comfortable handling cash and systems
Good communication skills in English
Based in Goa or willing to relocate
