• Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service.
• Greet customers warmly and attempt to use customers’ names.
• Answer the telephone promptly, take orders, and offer helpful service.
• Work as a team with co‑workers to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment.
• Take department garbage to the compactor or designated area.
• Maintain strict adherence to personal hygiene and dress guidelines.
• Wash equipment, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, and other items.
• Handle food safely and keep the work area clean and neat.
• Remove trash in a timely manner and follow company policies and store guidelines.
• Report to work on time and follow scheduled shifts.
• Assist in other store areas as needed and perform special projects when required.

• Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions and manage a few concrete variables.
• Basic arithmetic skills: simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information and request supplies orally or in writing.
• No formal education requirement; six months or less of similar or related work experience.

• Perform medium work up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
• Carry out activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and repetitive motions.
• Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision, and field of vision.

• Exposure to noise, equipment movement hazards, cleaning chemicals/solvents, temperature extremes, and possible electrical shock.

• Standard kitchen tools and equipment including disposal, trash compactor, industrial dishwasher, mop, broom, box cutter, and box crusher.

• Daily contact with the general public and customers.
• Contact with federal/state governmental or regulatory agencies regarding inspections.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre‑employment drug screen.
