Our location in Culver, Indiana is on the shore of Lake Maxinkuckee, Culver Academies encompasses 1,800 acres of green hills and woodlands, and a historic collegiate-like campus with beautiful Gothic buildings and architecture.
Responsibilities- Perform work necessary to construct, alter, and repair buildings, furnishings, and equipment as assigned by the supervisor.
- Specific duties may involve roof repairs, window repair, furniture assembly and repair, and minor masonry work.
- High school diploma or GED and a valid Indiana Driver’s License with a good driving record.
- General maintenance experience, knowledge of rough and finish carpentry, and ability to safely operate related tools.
- Fundamental computer skills.
This position takes place at various locations on our campus. The employee will be required to perform duties inside and outside and at times will be exposed to the elements in all types of weather. The employee must be able to tolerate the noise of power tools, be able to climb stairs, be comfortable working on ladders and scaffolding, and must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
