Job Description
The Field Service Technician I will perform functions related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer owned medical products. This includes cleaning, disinfecting, performing operational function checks, and minor repairs of Baxter and non‑Baxter products. The role also requires operating a fleet vehicle safely, providing 24/7 delivery, removal, and service support, and handling customer contact.

The Field Service Technician I (FSII) performs all responsibilities of a Field Service Technician I, including ensuring product readiness, troubleshooting, and repair of assigned medical devices. The FSII is expected to meet on‑call coverage 24/7, load/unload and transport products weighing up to 1,680 pounds, and operate a box truck or company vehicle up to 26,000 pounds.
What You'll Do- Perform electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning components.
- Use appropriate tools to make required adjustments and repairs.
- Provide on‑call coverage up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays, with customer account visits as needed.
- Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds.
- Generate service revenue and complete activities required under service contracts.
- Safely operate a box truck vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van to a 26,000‑pound truck.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

CompensationThe position has a salary range of $43,200 to $59,400. Actual salary may vary based on relevant skills, experience, time in role, business line, and geographic location.
