Job Title:

Custodian SCOTTSBURG, INDIANA

Reports to:

Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

Perform any assigned combination of various simple, routine duties necessary to keep plant, yard, parking lots and shop production departments, restrooms and adjacent offices in a clean and habitable condition.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Use hand or power equipment to sweep, mop, and wax floors.
• Gather scrap, recyclable waste and remove to proper scrap and/or recycling bins, sorting visually by simple prescribed means of identification.
• Mow lawns, wash windows, trim hedges and other vegetation, pick-up waste paper and refuse from lawn, shovel snow, paint (indoors and outdoors) and perform any tasks that would be considered part of the 5S philosophy (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize and Sustain).
• Must follow all safety procedures and processes established by the Company and/or required by OSHA standards.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be qualified as a forklift operator.
