Deep Cleaner- EVS

Responsible for deep cleaning of all floor surface areas, restrooms, slot machines, and high dusting.

• Detailing restrooms including tile floor, grout, edging, toilets, sinks, walls, stalls, vents, ceiling tiles, etc.
• Daily use of deep cleaning machinery such as side‑by‑side cleaners, heavy‑duty floor cleaners, wet and dry industrial vacuums.
• Clean & maintain all tile floors and grout.
• Clean & maintain all hardwood and other flooring as needed.
• Clean and maintain all floor cleaning equipment.
• Move and clean furniture as needed.
• Deep clean slot machines & slot banks—including tops, sides, bases & chairs.
• Deep clean Table Games, Slots, and all other casino/gaming chairs.
• Operate lifts to a height of 40 feet or more.
• Perform high dusting using lift.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace per directed instructions.
• Assist the Maintenance Department as needed.
• Report to Facilities Management any hazardous or threatening condition.
• Provide positive communication and use ACES training skills with every patron and co‑worker.

• High school education or GED required; or one to three months related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be comfortable working at high heights on an aerial lift.
• Must be able to use and control various mechanical cleaning equipment.
• Experience operating sweeping rider and walk‑behind cleaning equipment.
• Able to use ladders and clean ground level areas.
• Transport supplies to and from work areas.
• Move furniture, equipment, and other miscellaneous items as directed.
• Operate vacuum cleaners, floor machines, mop, broom, and aerial lift.
• Basic arithmetic ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure) and basic computer skills.
• Access to gaming area required.

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.

Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Employee must qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Stand and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; use close, color, and peripheral vision. Regularly lift up to 10 pounds, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

Moderate noise level; typical work environment for cleaning and maintenance.
