Job OverviewThe Regional Sales Training Specialist delivers and supports comprehensive training programs within an assigned region. The role provides hands‑on instruction and field support to external contractors, field personnel, and internal sales teams, ensuring consistent execution of training strategies that enhance installation practices, strengthen product knowledge, and drive customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Facilitate in‑person, field, online, and hybrid training sessions for contractors, field personnel, and internal teams.
- Conduct hands‑on demonstrations and certification training such as Trained Installer, Pro, Premium, and Commercial.
- Support development and maintenance of field‑use tools, including installation guides, videos, and related training materials.
- Ensure training content is accurate, up‑to‑date, and approved by the Technical Team.
- Promote compliance with all company policies and safety standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Serve as the regional point of contact for product and installation support.
- Deliver basic onboarding and foundational training such as Installation 101 for regional new hires.
- Gather feedback from contractors and field teams on product performance, installation challenges, and improvement opportunities.
- Communicate field insights to the Training Manager for coordination with Research & Development and Quality teams.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to support regional events, trade shows, and promotional initiatives.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety, health, and environmental policies in all work environments and exhibit a culture of safety.
- Bachelor’s Degree in education, training, construction management, or a related field.
- Minimum three years of experience in technical training, field instruction, or technical support, preferably in the roofing, building materials, or construction industry.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
- Must adhere to all safety protocols and use approved PPE, including respirators when required.
