We are seeking a reliable Facility Maintenance Technician to support the overall upkeep, cleanliness, and functionality of our building and grounds.
This role includes performing general maintenance and minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, addressing basic electrical and plumbing issues such as leaks or clogs, monitoring HVAC systems, and conducting routine walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs. It also covers replacing ceiling tiles, maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility—including the sanctuary, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common areas—and completing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and restocking supplies.
The technician will ensure the building is consistently prepared for midweek and weekend services while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
In addition, it supports exterior and event‑related needs by maintaining the grounds, including trash removal, walkway and parking lot upkeep, and assisting with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and snow or ice management. The role involves setting up and resetting rooms for services, meetings, and events, assisting with tables, chairs, and basic equipment, and ensuring all spaces are cleaned and restored afterward.
The technician is responsible for identifying and reporting safety hazards, securing the building and equipment at the end of each shift, and following all safety protocols when using tools.
- Perform general maintenance and minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs and addressing basic electrical and plumbing issues (leaks or clogs).
- Monitor HVAC systems and conduct routine walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs.
- Replace ceiling tiles and maintain cleanliness in all areas (sanctuary, restrooms, offices, classrooms, common areas). Tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and restocking supplies.
- Prepare building for midweek and weekend services, ensuring a safe, clean, welcoming environment.
- Maintain grounds: remove trash, upkeep walkways and parking lots, perform seasonal tasks like leaf removal, snow, and ice management.

- Identify and report safety hazards; secure building and equipment at shift’s end; follow safety protocols for tools.
- Basic maintenance knowledge.
